“So how did you lose all that weight?” is a question I’ve been getting a lot
lately. Starting my nutritional lifestyle change in January
of 2012, I wasn’t sure what kind of results to expect. It all begin as a sort of an experiment
– I was dating a guy who had done a hardcore diet one year prior and lost
around 80 pounds; he encouraged me to try something like what he did, although
I made it clear from the get-go that nothing was to be forbidden, and I wasn’t
interested in losing weight as fast as he did – I simply wanted to shed some
pounds and eat healthier.
My height is 158 cm, or 5 feet 2 inches.
My weigh-in at the start of my journey in November 2011 was
93.5 kilos, or 206 pounds. I set
an initial goal of 70 kilos, or 154 pounds, hoping to reach it sometime in June
or July 2012.
